1, Purpose and scope of application

Headspace injection device is a sample pre-treatment device for gas chromatography analysis. Compared with other sample pre-treatment methods such as solvent extraction and thermal desorption, it is simpler and more practical, with higher work efficiency and better reproducibility of chromatographic analysis results. It is one of the preferred methods for trace analysis in gas chromatography and is widely used:

(2) Environmental Science: Analysis of volatile halogenated hydrocarbons in drinking water and organic toxic volatile compounds in industrial wastewater;

2, Working principle

The principle of the AHS-6890 automatic headspace injection device is to place the test sample in a closed container, heat and raise the temperature to evaporate the volatile components in the sample matrix, and reach equilibrium in the gas-liquid (or gas-solid) phase. The upper gas is directly extracted for chromatographic analysis, thereby detecting the composition and content of volatile components in the sample.
